Chartering a Yacht

Terms of Payment
Once you have posed a request for the holiday period you would like, we hold on option the yacht you are interested in
chartering for seven days, if during that period you have no further communication with us the option is cancelled.
If you interest continues we move on to the booking procedure sending you 5 copies of the authorized
Greek Memorandum of agreement.
Once you have read and signed them, you return 4 copies to us keeping one for your selves.
During the same period 50% of the agreed charter fee must be deposited to one of the Bank accounts, which we will indicate.
Banks listed below.
NATIONAL BANK OF GREECE - Evgenioy Voulgareos 63 PO 49100 Corfu.
ALPHA BANK - Kapodistriou 80 PO 49100 Corfu.
The remaining 50% must be paid 30 days prior to the date of departure.
In the case of cancellation up to 30 days 50% of the charter fee is reimbursed to you and up to 7 days prior to departure 20%
of the agreed charter fee is returned to you if you have paid the agreed amounts.
Qualifications
In order to charter a sailing yacht 2 members of the crew must be holders of valid sailing licenses or have competence certificates from an acknowledged sailing school.
For motorboats one person must have a valid motorboat license.
In event that you do not hold any of the above we have very competent and able skippers who will undertake to cruise you on
your chosen yacht.
The cost for a skipper is an additional 118,00 Euro per day.
Yacht Insurance
Our yachts are fully insured for the hull, inventory and third party coverage.
They are insured with National Insurance from the National Bank of Greece.
The insurance does not cover loss of personal belongings and personal injury.
Yacht Quarantee
Before the port police authorize permission for you departure, you will be asked to leave a deposit for damages,
which the yacht may suffer.
The amount varies depending on the type of boat and is written on the charter agreement.
Upon your arrival we will deliver the boat to you checking all the technical parts and the inventory.
The same procedure is followed on your departure when you give the boat back.
In the case of lost inventory or damage to the boat the amount for replacement or repair is deducted from the deposit.
If there are no losses or damages the full amount is returned to you.
The guarantee may also be paid by VISA or MASTERCARD.
Check In - Check out
The yacht will be delivered to you full of fuel, water and gas, clean inside and out.
We ask you to redeliver her in the same condition as far as the fuel is concerned.
While we will take care of the cleaning at a surcharge of 53,00 Euro for yachts up to 3 cabins
and 73,00 Euro for yachts up to 5 cabins.
Papers / Certificates
Take care on your arrival that you have all necessary documents with you, Passport or I.D. card, sailing license
or certificate and your copy of the charter contract.
